Uncoat
Lenses without coating are more prone to scratches resulting in visual disorder and shorter life for the lens.

Hard Multicoat & Glass MC
Spectacle lenses can be provided with anti-reflection coatings which virtually eliminate distracting reflections off the lens surfaces, particularly helpful for computer users and for night driving. Anti-reflection coatings also improve the cosmetic appearance of your glasses and can make thick lenses look thinner.

Electro Magnetic Interference
EMI (Electro-magnetic interference) treated lenses protect the eyes from the radiation and flickering emitted by devices like computer screens, television, etc, thus providing the ultimate in comfort and performance.

Super Hydrophobic
Hydrophobic coating repels water and dirt so that the lenses are easier to clean and maintained. This is applied to all Hard Multi Coated Lenses. Super Hydrophobic Coating is more evenly covering the surface of the lens which eliminates all the dust and repels water; so as to say is a “Dust Free” Lens.

High Cylinder
Patients having astigmatism, need two different correction powers in two different meridians (horizontally and vertically for example). This is specified by describing how the cylinder (the meridian that is most different from the spherical power) differs from the sphere power. Power evenly transitions between the two powers as one moves from the meridian with the most convergence to the meridian with the least convergence or most divergence.

Normally stock lenses are available upto -2.00 cylinder. Above this power, all lenses have to be surfaced from the laboratories which causes delay in deliveries. We have now added cylinder upto -4.00 in most type of lenses to cater to the speedy requirement of customers.

Hardcoat
Hard Coating on the lens enhances the working lifetime by reducing scratches on the lens, which in time would otherwise interfere with the vision.

Ultra Violet
A Ultra Violet coating is used to reduce the transmission of light in the ultraviolet spectrum namely the UV-B radiation and the UV-A radiation, particularly harmful for the human eye.

Impact Resistance
All Impact Resistant (IR) lenses are chemically or heat treated that exceed safety standards for impact resistance against debris and breakage. For plastic lenses a primer coating is added to create IR to meet the safety standards, especially in the USA. Polycarbonate lenses are itself IR in nature.

Aspherical
Aspheric lenses are made with a non-spherical curvature, which is different from the standard lenses, to make them flatter and therefore thinner and give less distorted vision.
